All other members are Associate Members). Membership is on an individual basis.
Regional Membership Meetups
Our annual summer meetups give you the chance to meet local SustainUS members and learn about SustainUS programs. Call for meetup organizers is posted in late May, and meetups happen in July and August of every year.

Not an email list per se, but for members who want breaking action alerts and immediate ways to get involved with SustainUS or support sustainable development policies. Opportunities, news, and accomplishments beyond your monthly SustainUS newsletter!
SustainUS has a large and diverse membership of well-connected individuals who come upon new opportunities! This list is for people who want to hear strictly about jobs, internships, scholarships, grants, conferences, events, and other resources in fields relating to sustainable development.
The high-volume list used by the Steering Committee and other leaders to develop SustainUS programs and make day-to-day decisions. Steering Committee conference call and in-person meeting notes are posted here. SustainUS members are welcome to view discussions.

Citizen Science Competition
Citizen Science Technical Review Board
Science, social science, and engineering students and professionals needed for our Citizen Science peer review Technical Board. Help judge our Citizen Science paper competition on topics related to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity. Submissions will be written at the college or graduate student level. Judges will need to be able to read and evaluate entries, up to 300 pages of material, between June 22 and July 6.
Support our programs, help fund our general operations, or invest in need-based scholarship funds for our youth delegates. SustainUS is a top-rated non profit. Because we're volunteer-led, all donations go directly to supporting our programs and members.
Leadership elections are held every year with nominations at the end of May and elections the beginning of June. You will have the opportunity to lead SustainUS, guide our work, and develop new initiatives. You must be 13-26, and positions are divided between our Steering Committee and assistant leadership positions. There are lots of roles, from tons of involvement to good options for people new to SustainUS.
Board of Directors
Elected by the membership at least once a year and as needed to fill open Board slots, Directors must be 26 or older; do not need prior experience with SustainUS; and work, study, or research in a sustainable development field. New Directors are nominated by the current Board and elected by the membership during the Leadership Election.
