SustainUS is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization of young people advancing sustainable development and youth empowerment in the United States. SustainUS lands at the UN Climate Change Negotiations

For the sixth year in a row, SustainUS has a delegation on the ground at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change conference. Day one of the negotiations brought a flood of activity--quite literally--we bailed out the first floor of our guesthouse during the wee hours of the morning after torrential rains brought water flowing into the house. Once dry and at COP, we reunited with international youth and got down to work. Second-year delegate, Abigail Borah, took the lead in drafting the international youth speech to the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice and was chosen to deliver it!
