Mexico Statement on Youth yesterday

Update:  as of 2.6.09 (Day 3)Yesterday, Mexico delivered an excellent statement on the importance of taking into account youth when addressing the matter of social integration.  Mexico strongly promotes the inclusion of country Youth Delegates.  Truly every country should have at least one Youth Delegate, and it should be considered so much more than symbolic.  The strong presence of Youth Delegates would give youth so much more access to the proceedings of such events, as well as a voice that could be heard without having to raise itself so high.  Most importantly, it would be a constant reminder of the presence of the incoming generation and the responsibility current holders of power have to us. Therefore, an entire three-page statement devoted entirely to Youth was very welcome yesterday!  Nos agradece muchísimo, México, gracias!
