Over the past seven years, SustainUS has steadily grown its resources, and volunteer base while working efficiently on a lean budget to take on increasingly ambitious projects. SustainUS has been awarded Special consultative status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council! SustainUS will now be recognized as an accredited organization with technical expertise at the Commision for Social Development and Comission on Sustainable Development.

Bali Delegate Richard Graves has won one of three $10,000 prizes in the Cliff Mojo/Focus the Nation Project Slingshot competition! The competition awarded grants to young people implementing hands-on projects to tackle global warming. Richard's Fired Up Youth Action TV will use the funds to produce youth-developed news segments on issues ranging from politics to pop culture, all from the perspective of their relation to global warming and the restructuring of our economy.
